Laurel and Hunter had the most magical wedding day at the Stables at Strawberry Creek, just outside of Knoxville, Tennessee. Friends and family gathered to celebrate on a warm summer day for an elegant outdoor ceremony, in a small meadow down below the Stables’ beautiful barn. Simple greenery and gold decorated the white chairs and tables of both the ceremony and the reception area, and everyone danced the night away with smiles and laughter and sparklers. Here are a few photos from Laurel and Hunter’s beautiful wedding day!

One of my favorite parts of Laurel and Hunter’s wedding was the elegance and simplicity. I spoke with Megan, the coordinator, before the day began and we were talking about how beautiful the white table decorations were. Small gold terrariums with greenery and candles, a few pastel flowers here and there. It was bright, summery, and perfect for the Stables at Strawberry Creek’s covered reception area. This was my first wedding at the venue, and it is so beautiful! The reception pictures were some of my favorites, second only to the gorgeous evening ceremony light. Nothing beats that soft, summer glow.

After their gorgeous outdoor ceremony, Laurel and Hunter and their guests went back up the hill to the barn for their reception. There was quite a southern feast, toasts from the best man and matron of honor, and dancing for hours and hours. Near the end of the evening, they even decided to line up for sparkler pictures and head right back inside to keep the party going. Highlight of the reception, as pictured below, was definitely Laurel’s grandmother dancing with all of the bridesmaids to Uptown Funk. She and her husband had just won the night with their 70 years of marriage, and she stayed out on the dance floor when everything picked up, it was a hit.

Laurel and Hunter, I had so much fun capturing your wedding day. Everything was gorgeous, from the weather to the ceremony to the smiles of guests to the endless hours of dancing. Here’s to Mr. and Mrs. Maerz!
